At first, I was excited to live here because of the views and neighborhood and I have given them 5 stars. However, my experience has been disappointing.
Shortly after moving in, I caught a mouse in my apartment and informed management. They apologized and said they fixed it, but I saw another one later, proving the issue wasn’t resolved. The heating system also had recurring problems during the cold winter, making it very uncomfortable.
Despite leaving my unit cleaner than I received it, I was charged $256 for cleaning fees and $69.71 in unexplained service fees after moving out.
While the location is nice, I cannot recommend this place due to poor maintenance, pest issues, and unfair security deposit deductions. Be aware that you may face unexpected charges after moving out.
1600$ for mold infested apartments is ridiculous. The apartment went untouched for a few weeks over the summer and got back and EVERYTHING was covered in mold. The floors, the carpet, clothes, couch. We reached out to the owners multiple times as this is something they should resolve yet we never got a response and had to spend hundreds of our own money to make sure the place was livable and not a biohazard.
Most everything has been good but it’s disappointing the amenities are mostly for show. It’s unbelievable that the pool is only open for a short period of time in the summer because you’re required to have a life guard on duty even when we sign an agreement that the risk is on us. The tennis court doesn’t even have a net and there is no basketball hoop either. The grills are not in useable condition either unless you want to spend 30 min cleaning them prior to. I wish they would just put the tennis net in and would let the paying residents who are of age to use the pool without needing supervision. Please fix this.
5 stars: STAFF! Sarah, Claire, Idel. They are the personality that sold me on this property when I originally moved in. They are the backbone of this entire establishment; courteous, timely, kind, tactful, honest, and helpful with integrity beyond most. Their maintenance staff is also a group of genuinely honest and caring people.
1 star: Corporate, upper management. They failed to provide me with a properly signed lease renewal which led to a cascade of negative consequences for me as the renter. While working to remedy these problems with the corporate and upper management teams, they were manipulative, dishonest, rude, and entirely unresponsive or sluggish with replying and/or communicating pertinent information.
It is painfully clear Morgan Properties and their "leaders" view The Meadows as a money-making machine. They do not care about you as an individual let alone view or act with the belief that these apartments are a HOME to people and families. It is simply a product they abuse for profit.
Lived here for 2 years during a transition. Frankly, a depressing place to live. Wouldn't wish this standard on my worst enemy. Appreciate it for what it was, but now that I live in a luxury condo, I would never go back.
When I lived here, it was 1k for a 1 bedroom. Now it's 1600, ridiculous. Feel bad for anyone who signed that lease.
Moved into the Meadows recently and they have been wonderful to work with. I have been calling like crazy to ask questions and bothering them left and right and they have been so patient, specifically my girl CLARE. Super grateful for their endless patience and kindness.
I had an appointment today for a walk thru/showing for an apartment with Claire and she was super helpful. She answered all and any questions we had and she took her time going through all of the details of the different types of apartments.
Carl in maintenance is great!!! Our bathroom flooded and he came over and fixed our issue quickly and was super professional. Thank you Carl!
I didn't get to see these apts. No availableity!
This place is a POS. When we first moved in it was great and had minor issues that maintenance fixed (after being called multiple times and being told nothing was wrong with it…. there was). We lost our central air in the MIDDLE of summer with 2 dogs in the house, moved into a dirty apartment (cat food everywhere… i don’t have a cat), REAKED of multiple bug bombs, and now their leasing office doesn’t communicate with one another and sent me an eviction notice and has threatened lawyers on me MULTIPLE times. I’ve never had a late payment for them at all… not even by a day. But I have decided to end my lease early due to financial reasons and they have threatened lawyers on me multiple times, emailed me multiple times about a “overdue amount” (not due for another week and a half), and I come home to an eviction notice on my door. This type of abuse is NOT worth the laminate flooring (that was supposed to be brand new but had HUGE scratches in it) or the central air. Go spend your $1700 elsewhere!!!!!
