A beautiful golf course, great club house with excellent food, and built inside one of the prettiest Dubai's communities. Lots of gazelles roaming around the course. Played here many times. Overall the course has a nice mix of challenging holes and very scorable holes. Generally speaking, the course is well maintained, however from time to time it seems to have some irrigation problem, and fairways and greens can be patchy.
Driving range a bit annoying: cannot use woods/driver on the range, only inside a betting cage next to it. Pitching/putt practice is nice. Pace of play can be slow on weekends. Food/drinks on the course quite expensive, but in line with Dubai other courses.
Can’t give 0 stars hence giving one star.
Course is nice, feel good and well maintained but has terrible experience, service level and practice infra.
Infrastructure is poor: their driving range is not a “driving” range because it’s Irons only. They ran out of range balls yesterday. No staff at the range. I was standing there like an idiot for 20 min before I had to go into some back alley to find a guy who could help me.
Staff: Especially rude. I told the staff there were no driving range balls. The guy (whom I traced after 20 min) said ball pickup machine is not working and started laughing at me. When I asked to see the manager - no one came for 40 min. They refused to get him on the radio. They refused to even call him on their cell phone. By that time I was fed up and miraculously a few range balls materialized so they can claim I have range balls in case the manager showed up. I just went ahead and played my round because I didn’t want to risk losing the green fees I paid.
Midway through the round - I’m teeing off from Hole 7. I see 4 random people driving the 6/8 seater transit / drop off buggy. These guys go wrong way round the course, just stop in the middle of the fairway and start taking pictures. They then come and ask me if I have “extra balls” and would lend them my clubs to play and show them how to play. Few holes down I see them (again) having a nice picnic on Hole 13 or 14. They’re all spread out and enjoying a nice walk in the park.
Edit: Conor called me immediately after the review and was forthcoming and honest. I appreciate the responsiveness and the clubs reaction to the complaint.

A world-class golfing experience in Dubai, elegance, precision, and pure relaxation.
Dubai Hills Golf Club is easily one of the most impressive and impeccably maintained courses in the UAE. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with stunning views of lush fairways, perfectly manicured greens, and the unforgettable backdrop of the Dubai skyline, including Burj Khalifa on the horizon.
The course layout is both enjoyable and challenging, with strategic bunkering, clever water features, and smooth, true-rolling greens. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a casual weekend player, the experience feels premium yet very welcoming.
The clubhouse is exceptional, modern, elegant, with great dining options and a beautiful terrace overlooking the 9th and 18th holes. The service is genuinely impressive — attentive, professional, and always happy to help.
The practice facilities, including the driving range, short game areas, and coaching programs, are some of the best in Dubai.
Whether you're here for a round, coaching session, or just to unwind and enjoy the views, Dubai Hills Golf Club delivers a truly memorable experience.
Highly recommended for golfers, families, and anyone looking for a luxury leisure experience in Dubai.
