DAMAC Lakeside

My husband and I were victims of discrimination today by the security guard. We went to see an apartment in Tower A, but we wanted to see the common areas, and to do so, we had to enter through Tower B. The security guard argued with our Realtor because he couldn’t let us in; while this was happening, other people were coming in and out of the tower, and the guard never asked them for identification. He never approached us to give us an explanation, nor did he apologize. I think this man doesn’t like Europeans.

Edit: date: 10/11/2023: Finally all the *three lifts* are working properly after three months! Water seepage complaint was raised through the app more than 7 times. Living in Damac Lakeside A for more than a year now! ****Worst maintenance team ever**** Can't live inside the unit due to water seepage from neighboring unit's bathroom. Raising complaints are useless Authorities just ignore the complaint. Very rude technicians. It took 2 months to find out the issue, that too inspection done by their supervisor. *** Lift doesn't work*** 22 floors with 22 units in each floor. 3 lifts are there in the building but 1 lift is permanently closed. We have to wait for min half an hour to reach our home from ground floor if it's peak time. ****The corridor always stinks**** The windows are full of dust n dirt. I haven't seen any building in Dubai so dirty like Lakeside. Even the neighboring buildings did the cleaning at least once in a year.

This is the worst place when it comes to safety. Lack of surveillance, lasy management, no one take responsibility of anything. No cameras in parking. Even sometime parts of cars has been stolen, if you keep anything close to your car, it's gone in 2 hours max. Even bikes accessories have been disappeared from my bike. I don't recommend anyone to live here...

The security staff is very bad, they are mean and disrespectful and they only cause problems and the management does not care about the residents’ opinion. All of this, in addition to the poor maintenance and the fact that you have to accept that the AC does not work well. This is literally the worst building I have lived in. I really regret this experience and I will not advise anyone again to live in this building or any Damac building

Horrible building and a very bad service.Especcially security, uneducated, rude and aggressive.they are treating people like we are the labour and they are the kings. No respect at all. My husband and I suffered today for 2 hours to enter our building and finally we parked outside.no maintanence for anything, no proper AC and always trouble for residents, who they are? We are paying rent for 8 years and always this kind of situations

We have viewed 4 apartments in this building and every time is a hassle with parking and getting past security. Beautiful apartments but being treated like criminals by security and agents not knowing the procedures have put us off renting one of these beautiful apartments. If you want to live in Fort Knox, then Lakeside Towers is the place for you.

I've been complaining to damac and building security since 1 month to do any effort stopping kids from playing in tower b facing my apartment which causes unbearable noise, no actions, they send security to check and talk to those kids then he leaves they start again screaming even louder, once they sent me a security saying to close my door and it's a playground.... SORRY IT'S NOT.. there's playground and I know it's the building entrance not a playground, and not you who should tell me when I want to close my balcony or not ( knowing that am always closing it because of the noises)... instead of solving the problem you are frustrating me?! I tried to speak to those kids calmly that I have a baby, and I work night shifts so please play without shouting and yelling... they were bullying me... I hated staying at home because of this problem... I know they're kids and they want to play but at least respect others are coming home to rest and sleep. Some parents come with their children and play with them football knowing that the gym, and other the whole ground floor there is Glass front no walls any shoot can break it. Children come from there to pick up their ball and whenever they see my cat sitting inside in her bed they start throwing stones on my balcony, which may break the glass. Useless complaints, Useless management and Iam really hopeless to find a peace in my home because of them.
