Collective - Tower 1, Dubai Hills Estate

I have had several problems throughout the year with the security staff at Collective Tower 1, Dubai Hills. The security guards are completely incompetent and do not know how to do their job. They speak rudely, and the other day they shouted at me, just like they have on many other occasions. They lack logic, act as if they are the bosses of the building, and forget that they are employees. Living in Collective Tower 1 feels like being in a school where you are constantly scolded and forced to give explanations to simple workers for absolutely everything. The security staff are rude, unprofessional, and behave like robots with no manners or common sense.

There is no visitor parking whatsoever. Despite there being plenty of space in the ground level car park. It seems security have reported my car to the police for being parked out of the way near the entrance. 500 aed fine . Was parked just over 1 hour

Such a nice place that is very soon going to feel abandoned, I guess. We’ve been living here for more than a year now, and compared to a year ago, the summary is the following: - They stopped keeping the backyard clean: all surfaces are dirty (couches, tables), cigarette butts are everywhere, and when you ask them to clean it, they pretend they do but actually don’t. Whether in person or by email, it’s just “okay ma’am, okay ma’am” and nothing happens. - Last month, 2 out of 4 elevators didn’t work at all, and the remaining two are extremely slow, so you can easily wait around 10 minutes for your floor. - We pay around 500 AED for housing services for a 2BR, but it seems they found more interesting ways to spend this money than hiring proper cleaning/maintenance staff. Overall, the impression is that they “sold” this nice investment idea to people who bought apartments here and just don’t give a toss about the future of this “project.
