⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience with DAMAC Properties. They advertise that deposits are refundable, but in reality it’s only on paper. I paid around 3% — well below their own 5% minimum requirement — yet they kept my money and still claim I am bound to them. Later, they sold the unit I was supposedly holding without informing me. When I asked for my deposit back, their response was that I must either: • Choose another unit (or they would choose it for me), and • Pay 40% of the unit value upfront so they can rent or sell it for me. This is completely unfair and manipulative. They also try to lure people with promises of the “Golden Visa,” but as an American I don’t even need a visa to visit Dubai. It feels like they use this promise to pressure buyers. They ignore messages and provide no clear answers. I would strongly caution anyone thinking of buying from DAMAC — the lack of transparency and accountability is shocking.
